I am crying. CRYING! I’ve had more books make me cry this year than ever, like what???? What???
This book is so gut wrenching. It is so beautiful. I’m just….I’m at a loss for words.
Homophobia, transphobia, it’s so prevalent, and I forget how lucky I am to be in a bubble of people that accept me for who I am. I don’t have to fear for my life the way Vivek did.
It talks about everything. Parental grief, the fear of knowing your child could get hurt for being different. Finding solace in those who are considered misfits like you. I just…This book is beautiful. I’m so happy I read it. Wow. Please read this. Everyone, if you can. Im begging you.
