Life & Limb by Freya Barker

4.0

I found a few things that I am enjoying about both this book and this series. One thing is the characters are late 30's (around 38, 39 maybe) or early to mid 40's. They also deal with real life issues, flawed family relationships, quirky parents, abandonment, DV, etc. Lastly, PASS, as a business, is far from perfection. They make mistakes they manage to recover from fairly quickly.

With Dimas and Willa, their major problem had to do with an inability to communicate. Neither one was good at the communication issue. Once it was resolved, the relationship moved forward rather smoothly.

They had to resolve all of the obstacles set in their path once the relationship was on pretty stable ground. The book had a decent mystery going on. The characters were engaging. There was plenty of heat between Dimas and Willa.

I listened to the audiobook. I thought the narration was was gpod, but the story easily stood on its own. I definitely meant to read the next book in the vPASS series.
