Surviving Hitler: A Boy in the Nazi Death Camps by Andrea Warren
5.0
The important thing to remember about this book is that it is the story of a BOY who survived the holocaust. It is a story of survival and thus is not written to give specific political detail. As it tells the story of a BOY, the writing style is simplistic, giving a more personal and colloquial feel to the story.
It is a superb book that gives an insight into what one child experience in a concentration camp, and really helped me to complete a project regarding more specific and personal experiences of WW2.
Definitely worth a read, particularly for those with any sort of interest in this period of history.
