Initial thoughts as I finish:

I was drawn into this story right away. The intrigue, the shady characters, and the toxic relationships kept me intrigued. But I couldn’t quite understand why everyone needed to sleep with each other—or why one instance had to involve rape.

The “big” reveal wasn’t surprising, but with such a short book, I didn’t expect to be completely blown away. The conclusion felt rushed, and the characters lacked depth, which made it hard to root for anyone.

Overall, it was a quick and engaging read, but it’s not a favorite. I think if it were longer, and had better editing, it could have been much stronger.
