Why do we feel the need to adapt well explored and loved strong women and remove all agency of their choices? Turn them into bland nothings that don't harbor an ounce of individual personality? I tried. I really wanted to like this due to the concept but I kept running into these fundamental flaws. This isn't saying the protagonist is unlikable. Unlikable would add much needed character development.
