A gorgeous edition of a fantastic Bookstagram classic!
A dark, twisted Peter Pan-retelling. Hooked follows James—known as 'Hook' to those who dare cross him—as he sets out to take down his biggest rival, Peter Michaels. And what better way to get to Peter than through his daughter, Wendy?
It all seems like the perfect plan.. until his empire begins to crumble, one of his men begins to turn on him, and he starts falling for the girl he's supposed to be using.
Emily's Never After series takes classic fairy tales and reimagines them in such a dark and twisted way. Hooked is the first in the series, and arguably the strongest (although I haven't read the newest one, Hexed). I've read this one multiple times, and always recommend it to anyone wanting to get into the "fun" side of Bookstagram (aka, dark and spicy romance that makes you question your moral compass).
