The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

5.0

Wow! I was never a fan of long and highly descriptive novels, but Erin made every page worth it. Multiple worlds all revolving around a central movement, kind of like a clock comprised of many moving gears that all work in unison. This truly is a magical adventure of the imagination, her characters draw you in, the intricacy and uniqueness of her plot movements make this book a page turner. I would highly recommend reading this if you are into magical realism, or even if you are not sure if you are, because this book will turn you onto it without being too much or overblown in any way. It is subtle, yet central, loud, yet feels like the whisper of a familiar voice.
