At the Villa of Reduced Circumstances by Alexander McCall Smith

2.0

I really enjoyed the first two books in the series. They were silly and ridiculous but also extremely funny- literally laugh out loud, roll on the floor funny.
But this was just flat out ridiculous, two drawn out short stories with very little punch line. And the main socially awkward, self absorbed, borderline Asberger syndrome character of Dr. Von Igelfeld of the earlier books, was unrecognizable in this current boring iteration.
I suggest skipping this one. Not worth the time (even as a short book).
