i've struggled to read this book since 2021 i think. bought this bc i loved carrie fisher quote account on twitter and this was on sale so i thought why not. it did not jell with me bc the whole book (or at least as far as i read it) was this rock and roll celebrity lifestyle (think of Daisy Jones and the Six, Patti Smith's Just Kids, and the past POV in Rachel Hawkins's The Villa). i don't like reading those type of stuff bc it's giving me "mom pick me up i'm scared" lol. But she could write. She's very reflective and wise.
