The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto by Mitch Albom

5.0

" Du Coeur on querit la blessure, par un serment qui le rassure ".

Albom is definitely a musician himself and he made Frankie Presto's character alive! it doesn't feel like a tale at all. the story has a lot of dimensions in it. it only took me 4 days to finish this because i just cant put it down. i keep on wanting to know more. i love the fact that every chapters has different narrators and one of them is Music.

The title itself indeed tells what the book is about. Frankie spent most of his life carrying his priceless posession, a guitar with 6 magical strings that turned blue when he saved someone's life.

I laugh in chapter 28 when Hampton Belgrave found Frankie and the hairless dog in his car trunk on their way to Tennessee in quest to find his lover, Aurora. He thanked Hampton and Hampton said "What you thankin' me for, boy? You just rode two days in the trunk of a car-for a girl."
