A heartwrenchingly beautiful gothic love story about three women who find love and companionship in each other amid their traumatic pasts. There is so much love, loss, and obsession between them, and they express their love in very different, but equally tender, ways. The author really nails down the dreary and subtly horrifying gothic setting and writing style. The characters have all suffered in the hands of men, but the focus always remains on how they bear each other's pain and support one another. Anyone who loves sapphic gothic horror should read this tbh!!!
