The Fear of Doing Nothing: Notes of a Young Therapist by Valery Hazanov
emotional

it’s the best psychology book i read in this period of deep reading i had which started in late January. and i believe because it’s not about conventional psychology. this reads like a series, like a show — one can feel all the feelings, see all the people. i just loved it and not that it changed me much as a person, i just felt like home with its rumblings about not belonging and questioning the authority of academia (sprinkled with deep longing for moscow air)
