After re-reading the Sookie Stackhouse series several times, I decided to venture out and check the other series Harris has written. I enjoyed it very much.
It is a great idea, a great story and written in her familiar way that just makes you want to keep reading. The tone is clearly different from the Sookie books in that Harper is less upbeat and more pessimistic, but who wouldn't be, when you're living in motels and experience death all the time? A good read. On to #2!
