This was such an immersive world of a small Puritan community and it showed how horrible they treated women. I loved Abitha and Edward they were great characters. Wallace was actually the devil and did all these horrible things to Abitha, so i realllllllllllly hated that man. It’s on sight with him. I got a little lost with the Samson story but I still really enjoyed the characters and the world a lot.
