I am so frustrated with this book! This had an interesting premise: people, suddenly turning cannibalistic after a nation wide terrorist attack. Yet, they were able to turn back. But, boy, was this executed poorly. I kept waiting for it to get better but it just managed to get progressively worse. It started off great…there was suspense, mystery, gore. But nothing ever gets explained. I mean NOTHING is explained. The author also gets overly political. I’m not even necessarily disagreeing with his politics but it’s so over done that it comes across as fake.  And the ending! Ahhh! It was so so dumb! So many holes, also political, and just dumb…like it was written by a 13 year old. I really wanted to like this but, no, this was awful. I’m not sure how I ended up with this on my TBR. I’m really not sure how this has the rating it does either. One final thing: regardless of what the other reviews say, this is NOT a zombie book…the people don’t die and then reanimate, they turn to cannibals and they turn back. Still, not worth the read.
