It’s not until years later when Callista is grown that she ventures out to get answers. Some small clues lead her in the right direction, but it isn’t until her roommates brother shows up to repair some things she learns more. She wasn’t expecting Connor or to hit things off with him because he is a prospect for her father’s MC club. Things heat up quick and insanely hot between them, but when secrets come to light will it be too late? That ending and epilogue is heartbreaking and leaves me questioning how do they heal from here or overcome any of that because it leaves us guessing or waiting for the next book to see.
