I picked this up after hearing an interview with the author, and glad that I did, though not likely to be an author I actively seek out in future.
A journalist with a growing reputation is tasked with shadowing a major film star on set of his next blockbuster to get the inside scoop for Vogue magazine. Early on in the shoot a man dies and Thin and Tyler end up having to cover up his death - can they trust each other enough to get through this?
Not a lot of alone time for the two main characters made it somewhat hard to believe they fell in love quite so deeply and quickly when they barely knew each other, but if you can get past that this was an enjoyable enough read, and definitely a change from the average light romance out there.
As we get to know the characters more we find out more about their backgrounds and what made them to make the decisions they did, and the novel touches on abortion rights, misogyny and the price of fame amongst other things. Not just a flat rom-com, that's for sure
