I'll admit that I am not the biggest Rand fan, but I do admire her writing. Her real-world political views, though, do offend and annoy me at times. That said, in The Fountainhead, I find the characters admirable in the convictions when acting individually; their interactions, however, create pairings that are odious and simply unlikeable.
