it doesn’t take much to surprise me, so imagine the look on my face when the big reveal came up!! loved the writing style, love how we see the main character battle with her trauma, her surfacing past. just as she’s about to get married too. lord have mercy.
it’s a real page turner. definitely think everyone should at least TRY to read it, even if you can guess the ending. because the questions of “why?” are all worth finding the answers to. not to mention the internal battles she faces every day, soothing them with self medication. (i would too if i was a prescription writing psychologist ok…)
