quick and enjoyable read, although i struggled to do more than skim the parts about the quran/parables. they were relevant and i understand that they informed the author's life but it was tedious to have to go back and forth between the personal narrative and a new religious figure. i really enjoyed the voice of the author, she articulated her experiences and self-concept very well.
