My second Kate Quinn, and I look forward to reading more (though maybe stepping away from the World Wars - not my favorite setting). Like the Rose Code, I learned something new and interesting from history, in this case about the role of female spies in WW1. However, this had a number of particularly gutting, hard to read scenes. My favorite part was the found family that developed between Charlie, Finn, and Eve. I love the ending Eve finds for herself.
Graphic: Torture and War
Moderate: Rape, Suicide, and Abortion
