Talking to Strangers: What We Should Know about the People We Don't Know by Malcolm Gladwell
3.0
Review of the audiobook. 3-1/2 Stars.
This book was compulsively readable. The audiobook is incredibly well done and it’s more like listening to a podcast than a book. Malcolm Gladwell makes a compelling argument in this book about how place affects our actions. Do I buy into his theory? Well, no really. Honestly it seems too simplistic and while his examples fit his ideas, I’m sure there are a dozen other examples that don’t. But he gets you thinking...I finished this book almost a month ago and I’m still thinking about it. So he gets bonus points for being charming and persuasive. But he still didn’t totally win me over to his point of view.
