I just love the Newhouse University world that Ginger Walls has written. After reading Strike Zone I had to go back so I could read Lauren and Hart’s story. Once I heard there would be an audiobook I waited so I could listen and I absolutely loved it!

These two were so similar with different experiences that defined them but that really made it easier for them both to open up to each other. They were both so closed off and I enjoyed seeing them slowly open up to each other little by little. I loved the way he spoke Spanish to her and figured out how to meld into her life at Newhouse and away from college. And once Lauren slowly started to lower her walls from her fear of abandonment you could just see they were meant to be. The twist towards the end was such a fun surprise and I did not see it coming.

Heather Stonewell and Raphael DeRamiro were both new narrators to me and I enjoyed they both in this dual narration audiobook. They were both cast so well and really brought this audiobook to life. Both narrators were fabulous switching back and forth between English and the little bits of Spanish that’s spoken in the book which just added to the experience.
