This was such a different in a good way, book that I have read in ages. I really liked the storyline and characters.

The found family feeling in this story was excellent. They really supported and helped each other.
I’m not sure I feel for the whole cult/community in this book. It was not my cup of tea, but it’s a very well written book.

The mystery in it, made the whole book. I got suspicious of who it was in the middle of the book. But the extent of crazy and evil was something I wasn’t prepared for. Wow. It was heartbreaking and terrifying. But the love and revenge was excellent.

I loved Lucian and Elise together. He really helped her through her past trauma and her current trauma.

This book has a lot of traumatic experiences, and is very dark. So be sure to read the TW on the author’s website before reading.
