A dark gothic romance with added mystery and intrigue set in a mountainous boarding school. I felt like the bones of this story were so good and some parts I was really hooked by the mystery. That being said, I didn’t love it. I felt like the relationships between characters felt rushed and I felt like could have had more substance. There are still a lot of unanswered questions which has me intrigued for a sequel (which I’m sure there will be). I love Corvina’s character and growth she experiences as she becomes closer with Vad and the sort of witchy supernatural element she has within her. I do wish the ending would have provided more closure but *shrug* it was a quick read.
