The Chemistry of Love by Sariah Wilson
2.0
1.5
This book is blatantly a rip off of the love hypothesis and it’s bad. She’s not like other girls: she doesn’t own more than one dress, shes so clumsy it’s not even funny, she is such a nerd about fantasy (but only the main stream ones), she is an idiot in regards to Craig, and to top it off she’s a terrible fucking chemist.
There was the whole section in the beginning which didn’t make any sense like no chemist would drink water in the lab! Especially out of a beaker that’s so fucking dangerous! And not to mention gross! And besides chewing gum is a universal no in labs, so why add a slight against the boss to be like ‘he doesn’t let me chew gum’ like duh, he shouldn’t that’s dangerous.
Clearly, the author does not have any idea what goes on in labs and that’s fine but why choose this subject. The only saving grace for this book was the chemistry between Marco and Anna (whose name really should’ve been pronounced Ana). She was just too “quirky”. The chemistry between them was very good. Would’ve loved to see it but instead there was a lot of vague horniness, which is awful. Anyway, in summary while it’s not a strong technically written book, and definitely a rip off of a better book, the MMC and FMC had some good chemistry.
It’s a book and I read it so 1.5 stars.
