fav character: Auntie Teddie
fav quote: “We love imperfect people. We can love them and not condone their actions and beliefs.”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved the writing style, learning about the culture/ beliefs, and the message to be careful who you trust.
While the first half of the book was a little slow to my liking, once I got more into it, I literally could not put the book down. I am bummed we did not get more from JJ in the end but I really enjoyed how it played out overall.
