Interesting concept and cast of characters, but ultimately neither the plot or characters were compelling enough for me to finish after 70%.

Characters: 0.5; interesting but underdeveloped characters with potential that was never realized
Plot: 0; sub-plots of each story went nowhere, should have been written as character studies instead
Pacing: 0.25; inconsistent, dragged in many places
Writing Style: 0.75; lusher style with nice turns of phrase
Vibes: 1.0;  the interesting concept, mystical, dream-like

Spice: 4.0; averaging a 4.0 because of the differing story lines in the book, ranging from mild descriptions to intense BDSM impact play. Heed content warnings about dubious/non-consent.
