More like 3.5 stars.

I enjoyed the story, and liked how Elle Daniels interpreted the 'Beauty and the Beast' tale, with the Marcus's backstory and character development.

At times it was a little unbelievable and the historical accuracy was questionable. I also felt the story dragged in sections, particularly when Marcus or Danni are having doubts over their feelings for each other. However, I loved the banter between the two, and the way they slowly opened-up.

I also liked the Cameos with Ginny and her family. And the ending makes me excited for the next book... Which I believe is coming out in October 2018.
