A Stranger on the Beach by Michele Campbell

2.0

The story line was slow and somewhat predictable. A young man with a criminal past falls for a wealthy woman who is going through a divorce. The story goes back and forth from his and her point of view. It's nicely written that the reader sees each person point of view from the same event. It was interesting style of writing as the reader does not know what point of view is the correct one that the author intended. I kept asking myself "so who is telling the truth?". However, the story was so slow. I honestly wanted to read the back of the book to see what's the ending. Main female character was so boring and it's obvious who she really is and what's going on. Even the event of the Russian girlfriend and who she really is, is not enough to captivate me. Overall it was an okay book.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
