Probably are at the Caraval series first, but this one sounded more interesting to me. Though I'm glad I went right into this one. I really loved the fairy tale atmosphere. Everything felt bright and a little ostentatious and really magical. Even when things got dark and spooky, it still felt very cartoonish fairy tale. Which was a positive to me, I felt very immersed in this world.

World building wise, I'm curious about the idea of the Fates and can't wait to explore more of this world. The FMC got on my nerves a little, but it is a YA book, so that was expected. I loved Jacks! He's so evil. I can't wait to see him soften towards his little fox.

I am definitely jumping right into the next book. And I might go back and read Caraval just for more Jacks.
