The very late addition to the Elric saga is one that fits kind of perfectly in, given the very episodic nature of both the books and the stories within the books. Elric having to make use of Stormbringer, which proves to be almost comically unwieldy without the help of Arioch, made for a great subplot, and I think this is where Moonglum finally clicked for me. Orlando Funk, crossing over from Count Brass's world, made for some really neat connections to the Eternal Champion mythos, and I absolutely loved just how much Elric felt like a pawn in this story in a larger battle between Xiombarg and Arioch. It's Elric in the weird, D&D-ish adventures that make me want to reread them as soon as I finish the novel.
