The Demon's Surrender by Sarah Rees Brennan

5.0

Wah! The series is over! I can't believe it. What I love about SRB's writing is that she's so interested in how everyone sees the world differently, how they're all limited and deluded in their own special ways. So when someone comes to even a small understanding about themselves or someone else you can see what a big thing it is. Like you imagine the person stopping for a second and having to adjust as their world reforms itself.

The narrator of this book, btw, is Sin who was a supporting character in the past and I think she might be my favorite. I totally wanted her to get everything she wanted, and to figure out how she is smart. Understandably, given the people she hangs out with, Sin tends to think you have to be manipulative and scheming to be smart, but you don't, Sin!

Also I was also sympathetic to not one but 2 demons by the end there. This is a little scary...
