I enjoyed this book, To Sleep is one of my favorite books. 

For the most part I felt like I was reading Stanislaw Lems Solaris. 

I don't mind unlovable characters, I loved the crescendo, however
the final pages of the book left me unsatisfied. We don't know more than before, and that's painful. So I dropped my rating from 4.5 to 3.75
