5+++++++ stars! This book took my breath away. Got me from page 1. I loved everything about Max & Rosie. This book was hot and steamy, yet sexy and sweet. It's about discovering love that's been right in front of your face. It's about those feelings when you realize that you love someone.
Max says it best --> "It was because of her. Because for the first time, things were starting to make sense. My place in everything made sense. She made sense of the world for me."
You could feel every sentiment of this statement throughout this book. It was so skillfully written that every word conveyed what was going on between Rosie and Max's relationship. These two were like all of the best combinations - peanut butter & jelly, salt & pepper, gin & tonic. They were always meant to be and you get to watch them figure that out in this book. Add in a grumpy cat and a cute lost dog and there is SO MUCH GOOD in this story. It brought out all of the best emotions. I laughed and cried.
