The New Clean by Jon Sands

There's an interesting mix of bravado and introspection in these poems, which ultimately felt honest and real. I think there's an interesting interrogation of masculinity here, though I'm not sure that's exactly the point of these poems. There's a lot of just plain love here as well—love of family, romantic love, even self-love. I liked it. I'm interested to see what his next collection is like.
