Okay the beginning was rocky, the middle was entertaining, and the end was literally outstanding.

I was surprised by the beginning of the book being written in past-tense, and i’m not sure how it’ll affect the next books, but the author did get mixed up with past and present tense a few times.

The action scenes were super clear, and lowkey carried. I could visualize every part of them, without having to skip to dialogue due to lack of understanding.

The banter between the characters was fun, and the romance had good pacing.

ALSO!!! I LOVED THE FONT SIZE!!!! more authors need to use regular ass fonts and not the little tiny ones they usually do…..
