Rude Awakenings of a Jane Austen Addict by Laurie Viera Rigler

4.0

The Freaky Friday premise - two unhappy women swap lives, despite the barriers of two centuries of time and living on different continents - is not a serious one, but the book is well-written, the details of Jane Austen's period and our own are accurate, and the stories are enjoyable. A fun read, and a great companion to the first book. With this one, we get the second woman's side of the story, as she awakens after an accident in Regency England and discovers that she is a 21st century single woman in Los Angeles.
