I’m DNFing this book. I tried, but I couldn’t get over the lack of quotations. I get that it’s a stylistic choice and probably serves some purpose that is beyond me, but it’s really annoying and makes it hard for me to focus on the book. I tend to read dialogue first and then backtrack to read description but I can’t do that here :/

I should’ve been able to read this book in a couple of hours, but I’ve been dragging myself to try and finish it for literal weeks now, and it isn’t interesting me. Maybe one day I’ll make it back to this book, but for now I’m done with it.
