evil book. gross and gratuitous with pedophilic mindset. unnecessary homophobia. written like a fanfic at certain points and Rebus is obviously an author self-insert. most of my annotations were edits.
Graphic: Child death, Confinement, Cursing, Death, Gun violence, Homophobia, Mental illness, Misogyny, Pedophilia, Sexism, Sexual content, Torture, Violence, Kidnapping, Grief, Death of parent, Murder, and Alcohol
Minor: Body shaming, Fatphobia, Rape, Sexual assault, Excrement, Stalking, Toxic friendship, Abandonment, and Sexual harassment
Warning! This book is super gross in how the "heroes" react to reading police files on sexual assaults and rapes. The main character also says gross things about his very young daughter. Be warned!
