DNF. Only the second book in my life I couldn't get through. I love historical fiction and was excited that this was set in a tumultuous period in time with the witch hunts. But honestly I made it to nearly 200 pages of the 400 and was just bored. The characters didn't interest me much. I couldn't tell at all where the story was intending to go. This is my first Gregory book and I'm disappointed after hearing great things about her Tudor books. It won't put me off trying them though. I've seen the opinion is very divided on this one. Unfortunately a DNF for me.
