The Women I Think about at Night: Traveling the Paths of My Heroes by Mia Kankimäki

adventurous informative slow-paced

3.0

It was ok, I felt like the author got weirdly judgey any time a woman had to bow to conventionality.  I didn’t think the author needed to make the one artist’s assault such a major part of the narrative for that chapter, it felt like she made it the artist’s defining moment.  The chapters didn’t feel like they entirely worked together, the later stuff (artist section onward) felt a bit tacked on.
