This Woman by Jodi Ellen Malpas
4.0
I have read other books from this author before but not the This Man trilogy. I heard amazing things about it so I decided to give This Man a try. I was able to read this as a standalone.
This Man is told from the hero, Jesse's POV. The is very much a character driven story. If you do not like Jesse, I think you will have a difficult time enjoying this book. Jesse has a lot of inner demons to contend with that have made him turn to alcohol and other vices to numb the pain. He is also a bit of an alphahole and controlling. However once he meets Ava his world turns on its axis. Jesse sees Ava as his cure. He's absolutely gone for her after seeing/meeting her once. I always love when a hero falls first!
This Woman is an emotional journey and provides insight into Jesse's character.
Would recommend this for readers who like morally grey heroes, alphahole heroes, hero falls first, angst, billionaire romance, age gap romance and spicy reads.
*Thank you to Valentine PR and the author for providing an ARC. I voluntarily read and reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.*
