How to Be a Better Adult by Jacque Aye
Did not finish book. Stopped at 14%.
DNF @ 14%
Well that was short lived.
This is not a long story but even within the first 2 chapters it’s just very odd and the writing is a bit choppy and disjointed. There’s no true depth to the character (I only met 1) and I get she’s a young adult in her 20’s, trying to figure things out for herself and her career but it felt less story and more cartoon show. Like 2 min in this scene with this conversation. 2 min of this character pondering. There was no flow.
And the other character I did meet, I assume is a higher up in the work chain but dude was annoying and all he did was send 2 emails🤣🤣
Hopefully the next buddy read will be better😅
