This was a great book with amazing insights to create loving-kindness towards oneself as well as some great meditations to complement the ideas it discusses. I love the audiobook for that (you can do the meditation mostly while you listen to the book) but the narrator was really dry and difficult to stay attentive to. Next time I want to read the physical copy, it would be a completely different experience.

I also want to revisit the hard copy because there is an appendix at the back of meditation ideas that I would love to reference again and try out.

Overall, I recommend this book, it is so important for our hyper-critical and emotion-suppressing world.
