Author accessibly blends nonfiction (detailed descriptions of our world’s nuclear apparatuses) and fiction (a scenario in which these apparatuses fail) very well, which is an achievement on its own. Definitely a thriller of a read and hard for me to put down. I do wish that, since her position on nuclear proliferation is quite clear, that we got more information on where to go from here for actionable items people can do to support that cause. Even though she doesn’t provide much for tangible steps for the non-proliferation cause, she very well may rally you to the cause with this read.
