This book is truly incredible. It had me sobbing.
The writing is beautiful, the motifs were expertly woven, the story and characters were intricate. Whose story is this? Whose identity was told through the lives of so many others? Identities and people are connected, and Wilkerson examines it through a captivating lens.
I think everyone should read this.
