The Partner Plot by Kristina Forest follows Violet Green and Xavier Wright who rekindle their relationship for one night and drunkenly get fake married. They decide to forget that the fake marriage ever happened until Violet panics during an interview and to save face claims she just got married. Xavier finds out about the interview from his colleagues and decides it might help his career so they decide to go for it. They will stop as soon as Xavier secures the job and definitely not catch feelings for one another.

I hate second chance romances but I love a good fake relationship book. I was pleasantly surprised to actually enjoy this second chance romance because the way they parted makes sense. I really liked Xavier and I really liked Violet individually, then I thought that together they were so special!  I particularly enjoyed this book because it was absolutely hilarious sometimes. I also enjoy going back to this universe, it was so fun and comforting to have a book for another one of the sisters. I did think that Violet's mom was a little overbearing and I didn't like that but other than that, the book was great. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fake relationships and especially for those who like second chance romances.
