This was my first Kate Quinn novel, and I am kicking myself for waiting so long. I LOVED this one!
The plot & pace was perfect, & there really is something for everyone - historical fiction all about a female spy network, a suspenseful mystery, with a little romance sprinkled in. High stakes & even higher emotions made this such a page turner.
These are the only things that kept this from being a 5☆ read -
1. There were a lot of French names, places & language sprinkled in that made it a tiny bit hard to follow, but the reading along with the audiobook helped tremendously with that!
And 2. I was slightly more invested in one perspective/timeline than the other.
I still highly recommend this one!
