when i started this book i really didn't like it, the characters were irratating and it just didn't sit right with me. But once we slipped back into 1940's the pace picked up and i started to enjoy it. i still found that some parts of the book seemed a little convenient, things always working out right in the end but i did find that i was in the end starting to like some of the characters and rooting for them to win! all in all a light and enjoyable read and i may pick up another of this authors works to see what another of her stories was like.
